Bjorem + Bolles Training Center Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Event
A New Era for Childhood Apraxia Support: The Grand Opening of the Bjorem + Bolles Training Center
On August 25, 2025, something truly meaningful unfolded in Parker, Colorado. Families, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), community supporters, members of the Denver Broncos organization, and media outlets all gathered together to celebrate a milestone years in the making: the official grand opening of the Bjorem + Bolles Childhood Apraxia Training Center.
For Team Garett, this wasn’t simply another event. It was the realization of a dream that began the moment the Bolles family heard the words Childhood Apraxia of Speech. It was the outcome of years of learning, advocating, partnering, and hoping. And most importantly, it was the first step toward a future where more children can find their voice because the therapists who support them are better trained, better prepared, and never alone in the process.
The grand opening represented progress, partnership, and purpose. But at its core, it represented families, families like the Bolles family, walking into this building and knowing that real help, real understanding, and real expertise now live here.

A Shared Mission: Why the Center Was Created
The vision for the Bjorem + Bolles Training Center began long before its walls ever existed. As parents navigating the world of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), the Bolles family learned firsthand how overwhelming, confusing, and isolating the journey can feel, especially when access to specialized care is limited.
When Garett and his wife met Miss Jennie Bjorem, a leader in the CAS field and founder of Bjorem Speech, everything changed. Jennie’s clarity, compassion, and deep expertise offered answers the Bolles family had been searching for. She became a trusted guide, a support system, and eventually, a true partner.
As their son Kingston made progress through specialized therapy, the Bolles family realized something powerful:
If access to a highly trained therapist could change their child’s life, it could change thousands of others too.
But there was a problem, CAS-trained SLPs are rare. Families often wait months or years to find qualified support. Many communities don’t have anyone trained in CAS at all.
That’s when the vision took shape:
What if they created a place where more therapists could be trained? What if they could multiply the impact? What if more children could find their voice because the adults guiding them finally had the knowledge and tools they needed?
What if they created a place where more therapists could be trained? What if they could multiply the impact? What if more children could find their voice because the adults guiding them finally had the knowledge and tools they needed?
So Garett approached Jennie with an idea:
Let’s build a center together.
A center dedicated entirely to training more speech therapists, raising awareness, and giving families better access to truly specialized help.

The Bjorem + Bolles Childhood Apraxia Training Center was born from that idea, and opened its doors with a mission rooted in love, advocacy, and hope.

A Grand Opening Filled with Heart, Purpose, and Community
The grand opening event at the new training center was filled with energy, gratitude, and a deep sense of community support. As families arrived and therapists toured the facility, it quickly became clear that this center was more than a building, it was a symbol of possibility.
The celebration brought together:
- Garett’s family members, including parents, aunts, uncles, and his own children
- Team members from the Denver Broncos
- The Denver Broncos mascot, adding excitement for the younger guests
- Local and regional media outlets eager to spotlight the impact of this one-of-a-kind center
-
Community supporters, educators, therapists, and families
The energy was warm, uplifting, and undeniably hopeful.
Attendees walked through the new facility, bright, welcoming, thoughtfully designed, and saw exactly what the future of CAS training could look like. Therapy tools, training spaces, learning hubs, demonstration areas, and rooms built for hands-on instruction made it clear that this center is ready to equip SLPs with the knowledge and confidence they need.
Words of Gratitude: Garett’s Remarks
During the ceremony, Garett shared a few heartfelt remarks that reflected both his personal journey and the broader mission of the center. Although he kept his speech humble and grounded, the message resonated deeply with everyone in attendance.
He spoke about how grateful he and his family are for Miss Jennie and the entire Bjorem Speech team, professionals who not only helped his son, but helped them understand what CAS truly is and how to navigate it.
He talked about the moment he realized that if one family could feel lost trying to find specialized support, countless others were likely feeling the same way. And he spoke about how Jennie’s guidance, combined with the Bolles family’s passion to make a difference, created a partnership built on the belief that every child deserves a chance to be understood.
Garett’s message was simple but powerful:
We built this center to help more kids. We built it so more families wouldn’t feel alone. We built it to give more children their voices back.

His words set the tone for what this building represents, not just a training facility, but a commitment to change.

Inside the Training Center: A Place Built for Impact
Every detail of the Bjorem + Bolles Center was intentionally designed to support one mission: preparing more SLPs to effectively diagnose and treat Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

3. Modern Therapy Tools & Resources
The center features curated Bjorem Speech materials, including visual cue cards, target selection guides, stimulus materials, decision-making supports, and more.
4. A Community Hub
The space is designed for connection, where families can meet other families, where therapists can collaborate, and where support feels shared instead of isolated.
5. Flexible Rooms for Workshops & Events
The center can host professional trainings, parent education nights, conferences, and specialty CAS workshops for SLPs across the country.
This isn’t a clinic. It’s a training ground for creating a stronger, more knowledgeable network of therapists equipped to change the lives of children with CAS.
And that’s exactly what makes it unique.
Strength in Partnership: Bjorem Speech + Team Garett
One of the most defining elements of this center is the partnership that built it.

The Bolles Family
A family deeply committed to spreading awareness, expanding access, and honoring the journey of their son and others like him.
Together, the partnership blends professional expertise with personal passion. It gives the center both scientific credibility and emotional purpose. It ensures that training is not just clinically sound, but also grounded in empathy for the families who rely on it.
That dual perspective is what will make the center a national leader in CAS education.
A Voice for Families Everywhere
For families in the CAS community, clarity can be life-changing. Many parents go months, or even years, before receiving an accurate diagnosis. Others struggle to find therapists who truly understand CAS and know how to treat it effectively.
The Bjorem + Bolles Training Center exists to change that reality.
By training more therapists:
- More children will get the right diagnosis sooner
- More families will feel supported instead of overwhelmed
- More therapy will be evidence-based, specialized, and effective
-
More communities will gain access to CAS expertise
At the heart of this mission is a simple truth:
Every child deserves a voice. Every child deserves someone who understands how to help them find it.
A Celebration of Hope and Progress
The grand opening wasn’t just the launch of a facility, it was a message to families far and wide that things are changing. That support is growing. That advocates and experts are uniting to make Childhood Apraxia of Speech better understood and better treated.
The children who attended the opening event, some talking confidently, some still learning, some just beginning their journey, symbolized exactly why this work matters. Watching them smile with the Broncos mascot, meet players, explore the center, and connect with one another reminded everyone that these kids are strong, brave, and deserving of every opportunity to communicate clearly.
The energy was filled with hope. The vision was bigger than the room. And the sense of community was undeniable.

What Comes Next
While the grand opening marks the official launch, Team Garett and Bjorem Speech are already looking ahead.
The immediate priority is clear:
Train as many speech-language pathologists as possible.
Train as many speech-language pathologists as possible.
The demand is enormous. Families everywhere need access to therapists who specialize in CAS. The center is prepared to meet that need, but it starts with getting SLPs registered and into the training rooms.
Looking ahead, the team is also open to:
- Expanding programming
- Hosting national workshops and conferences
- Developing online trainings for those outside Colorado
- Growing the facility if demand continues to surge
Expansion isn’t the primary focus yet, but the door is open. If this center can grow in a way that helps more children, the team is ready to explore it.
For now, the mission is simple and direct:
Give therapists the tools. Give families the support. Give kids the chance to find their voice.
